The UTP Cat6 structured cabling system allows a generic telecommunications infrastructure to be set up within a building, creating a local area network (LAN). Category 6 is described in the TIA/EIA 568B.2-1, ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173-1 standards and can work at speeds of up to 1000Mbps within an Ethernet environment, and can also carry other signals such as basic telephony, TokenRing and ATM services. Designed for transmission at frequencies up to 250MHz. The complete Cat6 UTP cabling system includes LSHF cable, female modules, 24- or 48-port panels, 50-port telephone panels, management panels, and multicolored, customizable hoses. With star-shaped center fill to maintain and increase cable performance.
